[ His hands plant on his hips and at the question about meat, one hand lifts so he can extend his finger confidently. ]

[ Junpei has zero hesitation when it comes to asking for the fancier types of things. After all, it had been Eikichi's idea to go for high quality ingredients just to eat on the Fae's dime, so to speak. ]

Eikichi looks for nice wooden boxes to deposit all the vegetable prep he's done so far before retreating into the kitchen and returning with a bunch of expensive meat and seafoods which he immediately starts slicing (if Kitchen-san hasn't done it for him anyway).]

[ He grins in response to Eikichi's suggestions, watching him and his precision knife work. In the meantime, Junpei checks his leaf to see how they're doing on time. A half hour. That's good. Still plenty of time to pick a nice spot, eat and enjoy the view. He smiles at the phone background -- some goofy selfie of him and Eikichi, all big smiles and pure joy.
His eyes lift to take in the real life version. There's so much a still photo can't capture. The sound of Eikichi's laughter. The graceful motion of his hands. The fresh clean scent of his favorite soaps. It continues to blow Junpei's mind that someone so all around perfect could be into him. ]
Maybe we'll be lucky when night settles in and the stars come out. We'll get to see a shooting star and can make an actual wish?
[ Junpei's glad he missed it. The whole incident with the orb was annoying as hell, but relatively normal? At least in terms of they understood what was happening. There was a way to fix it. Stars falling from the sky and being aliens is just so far beyond his comprehension. ]

[His knowledge of drinks is somewhat limited to "what tea goes well with fish" and "what alcohol pairs well with fish" to serve at customers in their shop. He settles on a sort of mixture of various tea leafs which he puts together in a portable teapot and gives that to Junpei along with the hotpot that they'll use to cook the food. He then gets to using towels to fold the other food boxes together, like a sort of fae-made benoto boxes]
[ Junpei nods along, clueless but agreeable. Eikichi knows best! He'll defer to Eikichi on this one. In the meantime he is the extra set of arms in taking the items. ]

[ Junpei smiles, cheeky. ]

[ There's a wink and Junpei starts toward the door, waiting for Eikichi to finish the final touches of prep before they can be on their way. ]

Yanno, this will be the first sunset I've gone out and deliberately watched. I'd be out before when it's happening and just be like 'huh, looks like it's getting dark.' But never really sat down with the intention of just...watching it turn to night. So it's one more first to add to the many firsts I've gotten to do with you.

[Look at his boyfriend, acting like a nerd. Off they go, MISSION START! It doesn't take too long for them to leave the safety of the castle and head off to the beach, close to the pier where they may see the ghost ship. Once he's satisfied with the sky-to-beach ratio, he puts the brazer down, putting the pot on top of it, ready to be heated. He removes the clothes from the containers, putting both down on the ground for them to sit on. Wouldn't want too much sand everywhere after all. As he puts pieces of charcoal into the brazer, he adds;]
Y'know what that means, right? I know I wake up early, but we should do it together! to watch the sunrise! That way we can say we've done both! [A small pause for dramatics.] Or done both of each other?
