In Persona, many characters are represented by a major arcana. Junpei is The Magician and his story can fall into aspects of both the upright and reversed magician. He's both confident and uncertain, determined and lacking motivation, enthusiastic and defeated. Junpei has a great potential for growth, but sometimes gets in his own way with self-doubt. A fun fact: the Magician is often depicted with one hand pointing toward the sky and the other toward the ground. Junpei's victory pose at the end of battle in the original games mirrors this.

Tall and lanky with a bit of a scruffy goatee. It's rare to see Junpei without a signature baseball cap, but when he's not wearing it, his hair is typically shaved into a crew cut. When not sporting his Gekkoukan High uniform, he usually opts for jeans and a plain shirt.

For Etraya, Junpei is arriving after August 31st where he's been meeting Chidori a couple times and has only just gotten her name. Additionally, he arrived in Auriel and has been floundering to figure out what the heck is going on ever since.

For Pixie Led, Junpei is arriving after the Hanged Man boss fight on November 3rd. They finished their final shadow. The dark hour is about to end. They just made plans for sushi. And now, Junpei's missing his dang happily ever after he worked so hard for! (Thanks Fae-folk!!)
